I got into fitness a little over 13 years ago, at first I just wanted to lose 20-25 lbs so I began strength training & then quickly followed it with running. Shortly after, I started running & since then I've ran hundreds of 5k's, 10k's, 15k's, 13.1 and 26.2 mile races and still maintain my strength training. My hope is to help others discover a love for fitness, finding a lifetime commitment to a healthy lifestyle they can grow with.

Running in 26 Degree Weather
I did get to go run this morning outside, in 26 degrees with the sun shining and no wind at all. I felt pretty great except for the minor chill even though I had a sock hat on and gloves. My goal was for 2.50 miles but I ended up running 2.39 miles which isn't bad for my first running in that kind of temperature. I am so happy to know that I don't have to run inside just because it's below 30 degrees. It felt great and I can't wait until my next run!
